Students who arrive after 11:10 a.m. or leave before 11:10 a.m. are marked absent for the day. A parent/legal guardian may check students out early. Parents must show picture identification. Then, a front office staff member will call the student's teacher and dismiss the student to the front desk. The office staff member cannot call a classroom for students to be released after 2:00 p.m. since dismissal procedures start at this time.
Excuses for absences must be written and signed by parents within three days.
Students that will be out for six or more days must be pre-approved by the principal.
